We employ both qualified and unqualified staff of all ages, who are chosen for their genuine interest in childcare, friendliness and enthusiasm. In addition to these qualities, we also require:

For our Nurseries

Managers - minimum 4 year's experience of working in a nursery, a level 3 or higher childcare qualification (e.g. NNEB, NVQ3, BTEC, teaching qualification etc.), previous managerial experience, thorough business awareness and excellent organisational, communication and person management skills.

Deputy Managers/Nursery Supervisors - a level 3 or higher childcare qualification (e.g. NNEB, NVQ3, BTEC etc.), minimum 3 year's experience of working in a nursery and previous supervisory experience. Able to communicate confidently but sensitively with parents and staff.

Early Years Teachers - a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. B.Ed/Cert. Ed.) and post-qualification experience with children under 5 years. Term-time hours approx 9am to 4.30pm.

Senior Nursery Nurses - a level 3 or higher childcare qualification (e.g. NNEB, NVQ3, BTEC etc.), minimum 2 year's experience of working in a nursery and a desire to develop supervisory skills.

Team Leaders - a level 3 or higher childcare qualification (e.g. NNEB, NVQ3, BTEC etc.) and minimum 1 year's experience of working in a nursery.

Qualified Nursery Nurses - for Nursery Nurse Level II applicants should have a level 2 or other equivalent childcare qualification. For Nursery Nurse Level III applicants should have a level 3 or higher childcare qualification (e.g. NNEB, NVQ3, BTEC etc.)

Unqualified Nursery Assistants - previous experience in looking after children.

Head Cooks - a recognised catering qualification is preferred. Experience of catering for babies and children an advantage.

Assistant Cooks - Food hygiene certificate and/or cooking experience helpful but not essential as full training is provided.

For our Kids Clubs

Club Managers - minimum 2 year's experience in a day care setting, a level 3 or higher childcare qualification (e.g. NNEB, NVQ3, BTEC, teaching qualification etc.) and previous supervisory experience desirable.

Senior Playleaders - experience in a day care setting, a level 3 or higher childcare qualification (e.g. NNEB, NVQ3, BTEC etc.) Previous supervisory experience desirable.

Playleaders - experience of looking after children and a level 2 or higher qualification in Playwork or Childcare.

Playworkers - previous experience in looking after children.
